Affiliated Community & Research Projects

Every year ETAs are eligible to apply for grants to support independent research and/or community-based projects funded by the “Fulbright Korea Alumni Fund.” The objective of these alumni-funded grants is to improve understanding and relations between South Korea and the United States. Founded in 2002 by ETA alumnus Michael J. Kim, the FKAF grant is distinct from Fulbright Korea Alumni Relations which operates this website. Past grantee projects have included winter English camps, English newspapers at school, donating educational resources for various orphanages and refugee programs, and more.

The ETA community and research grants are an alumni initiative. Please contact for more information about the grants.

Grant winners for the 2017-2018 cycle have not yet been announced.
